CTK Students meet Senator Mark Kirk during CWSP orientation

New CWSP sponsor MATTER hosted United States Senator Mark Kirk on Friday, August 28.

Friday was also orientation day for MATTER's four new interns from Christ the King Jesuit College on Chicago's West Side, and they had the opportunity to chat with the senator while they were here.

The senator met with several of MATTER's leaders and partners, including Board Co-chair Jeffery Aronin and CEO Steven Collens, as well as representatives from Abbvie, Astellas Pharma, and BlueCross BlueShield of Illinois. Senator Kirk also had the opportunity to meet a number of MATTER member companies including MedMatch, SuperBetter, Innoblative, and GTX Surgery.
