Dr. Tara Sullivan Joins Christ the King as the New VP of the Corporate Work Study Program The Christ the King Jesuit College Prep community is delighted to welcome Dr. Tara Sullivan, Ph.D. as Vice President of the Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP). She will be part of the CTK Leadership Team reporting to CTK President, Clem Martin. Her CWSP responsibilities will include fostering strong corporate partner relationships, setting the department’s strategic direction, and providing operational & managerial oversight. Dr. Sullivan brings more than 20 years of experience leading strategy and operations at both higher and K-12 educational institutions, and most recently as a consultant at Huron Consulting Group. Throughout her career, she has been committed to advancing social justice and building equity through education, starting at Loyola University Chicago, and continuing in her leadership roles at Northwestern University, Purdue University Northwest, and Amerigo Education. Tara started at CTK last week, and shared some thoughts on her new position, "I am passionate about the power of integrating student’s academic, extracurricular, and work experiences. Not only does the Corporate Work Study Program provide students access to quality, college prep education, but the integration of work and school can increase their GPAs, academic confidence, intellectual growth, and social adjustment. It is truly an honor to have the opportunity to help bring this integration to life for students through the Corporate Work Study Program at CTK." Tara has a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Indiana University, and a Master’s and Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Michigan. Every CTK student works 5 days a month to earn the majority of the cost of their education. Our students need additional CWSP jobs for the 2022-2023 school year through new job partners, expansion with current job partners, or funded not-for-profit jobs.
